5th Grade Promotion / Pay your $25.00 Family Fee and Pre-Order your Yard Sign

Hello 5th Grade Families!

The 5th grade promotion committee has been hard at work planning year end festivities for our soon to be graduates.  Things are still a bit up in the air as to the schedule of events because the County has not officially determined the last day of school yet.  We expect this to be determined any day and we have been working closely with Mrs. Kauffman and will be able to give you the full schedule as soon as the County finalizes the last day of school.

In the meantime, please consider donating to the 5th grade promotion fund.  The PTA does have a line item in their budget and contributes a great deal to the cover the costs of promotion, but in years past each 5th grade family has been asked to contribute to make the promotion ceremony and the week leading up to promotion as special as possible.  These funds we collect from the families cover 5th grade spirit days, class t-shirts, the promotion ceremony and the end of year pool party at Chase Creek Swim Club.

We are hoping that each family can contribute $25.00 for these activities.

If you would prefer to not pay online please feel free to send in a check or cash to with your child to be given to their homeroom teacher.  (Checks mut be made out to Arnold Elementary PTA).  Please make sure to note your child's name on the envelope.

We will also be sending out information very soon for anyone interested in buying yard signs.

We are so excited to make this experience the best ever for our children.  If you would like to join the committee please email the committee chair, Polly Offutt (polly.offutt@gmail.com).  It takes a lot of work to put on these events, so please consider volunteering a little of your time.
